SAHMSA Funding Restored

Yesterday (January 19) the Trump administration primarily restored $2 billion in SAMHSA grant funding that had been canceled on January 13 due to bipartisan pushback. Despite the widespread confusion and concerns about potential future cuts, key areas like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, State Opioid Response, and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) funding appear to be spared for the time being.
