We specialize in combining health system behavioral health strategy, operational and financial performance improvement, and care management principles in designing and implementing programs for behavioral health providers to help them prepare for certification as a CCBCH. Our care management models are designed to maximize CCBHC requirements and improve outcomes. We identify strategic and performance improvement opportunities and partner with clients implement integrated plans to manage utilization and improve health outcomes with a goal to reduce acute behavioral health episodes, particularly for people in need of CCBHC services, such as crisis management, for example.

Develop plans to maximize behavioral health program market position, develop CCBHC services, improve market position, meet CCBHC requirements and services to support CMS' Rural Health Transformation (RHT) program.

Program Performance and Financial Improvement
Identify and implement programs and management policies and procedures for behavioral health programs to improve market share and financial performance.

Serve as interim leadership at academic medical centers, community hospital programs and freestanding behavioral health centers to implement lasting improvements to quality and safety.
About Us
Randall Autry, CEO, has more than 30 years of experience serving in senior leadership and consulting roles in the health care industry, including strategy, business development, operations management and performance improvement, integrated behavioral and physical health roles and consulting engagements. Specializing in leadership of programs and engagements within the behavioral health industry, Randall brings a unique set of skills to behavioral health organizations. He has led behavioral health consulting engagements for freestanding behavioral health hospitals, multi-hospital health systems, large academic medical centers and state owned and operated psychiatric hospitals, and has served as senior executive in behavioral health related strategic and operations roles. Specific accomplishments include:

Recently worked with a team of consultants to create a comprehensive feasibility study for a county in New Mexico to develop strategies for addressing behavioral health treatment needs, inpatient detox and substance use treatment gaps, crisis care, meant to reduce homelessness, addiction, and detention related to these issues. The county intends to develop up to two county-owned facilities to provide these services. The feasibility study included a comprehensive assessment of gaps in access to care across the entire care continuum, buy-in from a county government based steering committee on which services to provide and an implementation timeline based approved initiatives.

Engaged as full-time interim CFO for one year at a 220-bed state psychiatric hospital in the Arkansas. Oversaw a finance department of 12 individuals, reduced non-facility maintenance and salary related operating expenses by 3% over the course of the one-year engagement, assisted in rate renegotiation with Medicaid MCOs, and led performance improvement initiatives related to hospital revenue cycle, supply chain management, and financial reporting to state government authorities. Implemented electronic controls for obtaining required approvals for all purchase orders.

Developed a strategic growth and performance improvement plan for a California academic medical center’s behavioral health enterprise designed to improve financial performance, develop subspecialty destination programs, and prepare existing programs for a planned move to a newly constructed physical plant in the Bay Area. Reorganized the programs’ financial statements to improve reporting of true profit/loss on a monthly basis.

Developed a plan for a California academic medical center to provide outpatient behavioral health services to employees and families of a group of large regional employers based on a shared risk population health strategy.

Oversaw Certificate of Need Process to obtain approval to develop an outpatient eating disorders treatment center that opened in November 2015 designed to provide women the option of a higher level of clinical and therapeutic care than the organization had previously offered.
